Artist, Stephen Hawks, lives in Lumpkin, Georgia. Though he is often associated with traditional pottery, his work is holistic and contemporary. He also paints and does sculpture, and has a lifetime interest in music and poetry. His poetry has been published in the Journal for Anthroposophy. His book, The Mound Builders, will hopefully find a publisher soon. For more information about his pottery see his article in Ceramics Monthly's November 2001 issue.
